Consecrated

I used a cachalot tooth for this small sculpture. This tooth had two layers, white and apricot. As the cachalot tooth is a very solid, I could carve the smallest details, such as the pages in the book, every hair, the veins on his hands and etc. I’ve carved it by Vrubel’s “Oecumenical  Council”. Height is 12,6cm. 2002
